Way cool!
Ok, so my second post isn’t a tutorial. But it is still cool!
Appears some researchers have developed a method of taking normal photographs, in conjunction with data from camera specifications, to produce 3d meshes! That’s right. Turn a 2d photo into a 3d mesh (and also bump maps). I just signed up and it was slashdotted today, so I haven’t had a chance to check out more than the results. It looks very promising indeed.
